RUBBER LINING
A rubber lining is a tough elastic polymeric material used to coat exterior surfaces or the interior of containers (e.g., tanks, pipes and other vessels) that house fluids to prevent corrosion.
CORROSION CONTROL
Corrosion prevention and control (CPC) entails the characteristics of a system design to preclude or reduce corrosion, materials selection, non-destructive inspections for corrosion detection, coatings, finishes, cleaning materials.
CONVEYOR SPLICING
Conveyor belt splicing is the process of joining two trimmed ends of a conveyor belt to assure belt performance and longevity. This process is either a chemical or mechanical procedure. It is usually performed as part of an installation, maintenance up-keep, or during a repair.
ALUMINA CERAMIC TILING
Alumina is a very hard ceramic that is excellent at resisting abrasion and is ideal for wear-resistant inserts or products. It is commonly used as a high temperature electrical insulator, particularly the higher purity grades which offer better resistivity.
MILL RELINING
Mill relining is the most specialised maintenance task in a mineral concentrator. Almost invariably the AG, SAG and Ball mill liner lives dictate the shut-down dates of the concentrator. The replacement of the mill liners determines the length of each concentrator shut-down.
CONVEYOR STRUCTURE
This is called a head pulley or a head roller. Conveyor belt moves forwards as the roller/pulley rotates. Roller which wind up conveyor belt is also attached at the end of conveyor, which is opposite side of the tips.
REFRACTORY
Refractory materials are those that can withstand high temperatures without the heat damaging their structure, resistance, or thermal conductivity.
